I was very excited to get this racket because it’s a 5U model with a head-heavy frame, which I assumed would allow me to smash more aggressively without the weight bearing on me.
However, I was disappointed. Despite being 5U, it doesn’t feel particularly light, and maintaining control during rallies is quite challenging. Yes, the occasional smash is powerful and satisfying, but after about an hour of play, my arm feels sore — something I find unusual for a 5U racket.
I’m sure there are players who will find this racket a great fit for their style, but for me, I’d go out on a limb and say it was a bit of a waste. Overall, it’s a well-made racket, just not suited to my preferences or style of play.
